I coach because I want to give back to the sport that sparked my growth in motivation, confidence, and discipline — shaping the youth into great people both on and off the mat. I am particularly passionate about teaching consistency, as it is the vital bridge between potential and actual results that requires showing up every day regardless of how you feel. My journey began in Woodridge, Illinois, eventually leading me to Downers Grove South and now to UW-Whitewater. My competitive career is highlighted by being a 2026 NCAA National Qualifier, a 2026 WIAC Conference Champion, and a two-time NCAA Academic All-American. I fell in love with the grind during my first college home dual, feeding off the energy of the lights as a young athlete. On the mat, my signature style focuses on heavy hand fighting and stingy defense, specializing in re-attacks and front headlock scoring. Outside the room, I stay active by fishing and golfing, enjoying the outdoors while connecting with those closest to me.
I started my wrestling career in 2014 attending Jefferson Junior High in Woodridge, Illinois. My cousin Connor Cummings introduced me to the sport and became my first coach, sparking a lifelong passion for wrestling.
I graduated from Downers Grove South High School in 2023 under Coach Sean Lovelace with all-state honors my senior year. Wrestling was more than a sport — it was the foundation for my discipline and motivation.
I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling at 157 lbs, set to graduate in 2027. I earned 2x NCAA Academic All-American honors and became a 2026 NCAA National Qualifier and 2026 WIAC Conference Champion.
I have coaching experience with the Downers Grove Wrestling Club and WarDog Wrestling Training Center in Woodridge, Illinois. I bring my technical expertise and love for the sport to Gorilla Lab, focusing on building wrestlers who excel both on and off the mat.
