I coach because I want to give back to this great sport and help the next generation of athletes fall in love with wrestling. I am most passionate about teaching consistency — staying disciplined in all aspects of life is the primary driver for elevating an athlete's skill level. My journey began at five years old, but my true turning point came in eighth grade when qualifying for state proved I could compete with the best, fueling my motivation to work harder. My competitive career is highlighted by placing sixth at the IHSA state tournament, being a three-time state qualifier, and earning a fifth-place finish in the WIAC Conference. On the mat, I specialize in top-position dominance — working with cradles, legs, and tilts — while also favoring the Russian tie in neutral. Outside of the wrestling room, I love to spend my time traveling and exploring new places.
I started wrestling at five years old and grew up with the sport as a central part of my life. From my earliest days on the mat, I fell in love with the competition and the values wrestling instilled in me.
In eighth grade, I had a major turning point when I qualified for state for the first time. That achievement proved to me that I could compete with the best kids in the state and motivated me to take wrestling seriously and train harder.
I currently attend the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and compete at the collegiate level. I earned a fifth-place finish in the WIAC Conference, continuing to build on my competitive achievements.
I have coaching experience with the Arlington Cardinals Wrestling Club, ISI, and New Wave Wrestling Club. I bring my passion for the sport and dedication to excellence to Gorilla Lab, focusing on helping young athletes develop both on and off the mat.
